One Thing We’re Loving

What’s one thing we’re loving on this Friday in May? It’s the Women of the Bible podcast series from Revive Our Hearts!

Each season of the Women of the Bible podcast takes a deep dive into the life of a woman from—you guessed it—the Bible!

Think of these podcasts like an audio Bible study; they’re your opportunity to learn more about God’s Word, God’s people, and practical ways we can apply biblical truth to our lives.

Our good friend (and former blog manager!) Erin Davis hosts the Women of the Bible podcast, and these conversations with women who love Jesus will teach and inspire you to know God’s Word for yourself.

So far, Revive Our Hearts has released three seasons, and another is coming in August! (The upcoming season is about Rahab, and I cannot wait.) Each season accompanies a six-week Bible study. I highly recommend working through the studies and listening to each corresponding podcast episode, but you can absolutely listen to the podcasts without the study. Choose what works for you and your learning style!

If you’ve enjoyed our Esther Bible study every Wednesday on the blog for the past six weeks, you’ll be excited to know it’s among the seasons of the Women of the Bible podcast! Check out the rundown of each season below:

Esther: Trusting God’s Plan

God masterfully orchestrates and weaves together every detail of our lives in jaw-dropping ways. Nothing and no one can thwart His plan! Explore the subject of God’s providence, walking verse by verse through the book of Esther.

Elizabeth: Dealing with Disappointment

From minor interruptions to deep, unfulfilled longings, life is full of disappointments. And yet, God’s Word offers us much hope! Explore the subject of disappointment through the eyes of Elizabeth, as you walk verse by verse through Luke 1.

Abigail: Living with the Difficult People in Your Life

Journey along with Abigail as she uses her influence in two men’s lives—with different results. See how the empowerment of the Holy Spirit can help you deal with difficult people . . . without becoming difficult yourself!

If you aren’t sure where to start, may I make a recommendation? Press play on the Abigail season. It’s possible that you’ve been quarantined at home for a while with your family members, and maybe you’re needing some encouragement to be kind to some . . . ahem, difficult people in your life?

HEY, GIRLS! We love hearing from you, but feel limited in the ways we can help. For one thing, we’re not trained counselors.
