Freebie Friday! Priceless Devotional

At age fifteen, Jen Barrick and her family were hit by a drunk driver in their van on their way home from a choir concert.

The accident was so serious, so life-threatening, that Jen spent five weeks in a coma—and when she finally woke up, it was clear she had suffered a traumatic brain injury.

But that’s far from the end of her story!

Jen’s life has become a testimony of the power and goodness of God. She can’t stop talking about Him!

Because of a serious brain injury, I would never be able to cheer again or play soccer. I’d never be able to drive a car. I had to relearn everything: walking, talking, eating. Most of my friends changed. My life changed. Even my personality was different. The only thing that didn’t change was my love relationship with Jesus and my desire to tell people about Him.

When Jen tells people about Jesus, she has a giant smile on her face and her joy is infectious. She knows who she is because of her heavenly Father. She knows she’s been rescued by His love. She knows it’s Him who protected her and is now using her to spread the fame of His name.

Jen has written a 30-day devotional for teen girls, and it just released! It’s called Priceless: Who I Am When I Feel . . .

This devotional is a journey through Psalms, and it’s all about who God is and who He says we are, no matter how we’re feeling or what we’re believing about ourselves. Jen writes just like a big sis, and there’s space for journaling notes and prayers to God.

I love some of the daily titles:

  • When I feel abandoned . . . I’m wanted by God.
  • When I feel alone . . . I’m surrounded by God.
  • When I feel ashamed . . . I’m forgiven.
  • When I feel awkward . . . I’m confident in God’s love for me.
  • When I feel invisible . . . I’m seen and known.

Each daily reading includes a devotional thought from Jen, Psalms, prayers, and space to write! It’s not too short (there’s meat in there!), but it’s not overwhelming, either. If you’re looking for a devotional tool to keep you focused for thirty days, we definitely recommend Priceless.

And it’s Freebie Friday, right?! So we’re giving away FIVE copies of Priceless. Because we want to help get our readers in the Word!
