Fighting for Life: The stories of Jason, Kelly, and Rebecca

I just heard the most amazing program on Revive our Hearts Radio. It’s titled “Fighting for Life: The stories of Jason, Kelly, and Rebecca” and it examines the issue of abortion from three different perspectives. Today’s program was the first in a series of three that will air between now and Wednesday.

I strongly encourage you to listen to this program or read the transcripts online. You may not recognize it, but this issue is of paramount importance to your generation.

It is possible that there are young women on this site who have themselves had abortions and are now dealing with the pain and turmoil that that decision has caused. To you, I say I’m glad you’re here. I hope that God can use this site to help deliver you from bondage and put you on a path toward healing. Kelly’s story will be particularly important to you. What a story of grace and redemption it is!

Some of you may have friends who are facing an unplanned pregnancy and considering abortion as a solution. Others of you may have the opportunity to vote for the first time in the upcoming presidential election and you’re looking for guidance on why this issue matters so much. In any case, this is a critically important issue and one where we, as Christians can take a stand that is often highly countercultural.

I’ll be listening to this series each day and adding my thoughts to this post. I hope you’ll tune is as well. You can listen through Revive Our Hearts Radio or listen online or read the transcripts after each program has aired.

Then, head back to this blog and post your thoughts about what you’ve heard. This is an important conversation for us to have.
