A Challenge and a Freebie!

We have a tradition here on LiesYoungWomenBelieve.com. Every time the calendar flips on a new year, we issue a challenge to our readers asking you to read your Bible every day for 30 days.

Why do the same thing year after year?

The Bible will make a difference in your life in 2015 if you read it.

Because it works! Many girls have written to tell us that starting the new year by spending every day in God’s Word has made a radical difference in their lives. It is so important that you become a woman of God’s Word. It’s more important than loosing a few pounds, getting more sleep, or ditching a bad habit.

Hebrews 4:12 promises, “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.”

Translation: The Bible will make a difference in your life in 2015 if you read it.

If you’re not sure how to dig into the Word, you won’t want to miss a single post this month. We will be hearing from some of your favorite writers on topics like:

  • When do I read the Bible?
  • How do I read the Bible?
  • Why do I read the Bible?

We also asked you to submit guest posts on the subject. You did! You will hear from many LYWB.com readers throughout the month. It’s good stuff!

Will you join me in reading the Bible every day for the next 30 days?

If so, log into the Giveaway Widget and then leave me a comment below to tell me about it.
